Daten-Ambulanz is the brand under which Schirmer GmbH offers data recovery. The company is based in Weyerbusch in the Westerwald, between Cologne, Bonn and Koblenz, and has been registered since 2018 at the Amtsgericht Montabaur under HRB 26465.
The work is done here, by the people you speak to. There is no intermediary who forwards your drive to a partner lab and adds a margin, and no ticket system between you and the bench.
How we work
Every case starts with an examination and ends with a decision that is yours. The analysis is free, the quote is binding, and nothing is worked on before you have agreed to it. If the data cannot be recovered, there is no invoice for the attempt.
We say what is realistic rather than what sells. A drive that has been running for two days with a damaged head has poor prospects, and we will tell you that before you spend money – not afterwards.
Media and working copies are kept locked away, access is limited to the people working on the case, and after your release image and working copy are deleted. For companies we sign a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR and a confidentiality agreement on request.
