SSD and NVMe data recovery
With an SSD, a defective drive is often the better news than a working one. The reason is TRIM – and it decides what can still be recovered.

With an SSD, a defective drive is often the better news than a working one. The reason is TRIM – and it decides what can still be recovered.
Why deletion is final on an SSD
A hard drive only removes the entry in the index when a file is deleted; the content stays until something overwrites it. An SSD works differently: the controller is told which blocks are free and clears them in the background, often within minutes.
That is why recovery software rarely helps after an accidental deletion on a running system. If files are missing and the drive still works, switch the computer off rather than installing a tool – every minute of operation reduces what is left.

Controller and firmware faults
The far more common case is a drive that is no longer detected, reports a capacity of zero, or has dropped into the controller's safe mode after a power cut. Here the memory chips themselves are usually intact.
Work then happens below the normal interface: the controller is addressed in technical mode, the translation tables are read out and the raw data from the memory chips is reassembled into a readable file system.
What recovery costs
For this service the guide price is from 349 € including 19 % VAT. The binding price is fixed after the analysis – nothing is charged before that.
Analysis free of charge
We examine the medium and establish what work is needed. There is no charge for that.
Fixed price in advance
You receive a binding quote with a list of the files found. Only then do you decide.
No data, no invoice
If the agreed data cannot be recovered, you pay only the agreed return shipping.
Frequently asked questions
Files were deleted on my SSD an hour ago. Is anything left?
Possibly, but time matters more than with a hard drive. Switch the device off now and do not install any software on that drive – both reduce the chances further.
The SSD is not detected at all. Is that worse?
Usually it is better. A drive that has failed electronically has not been able to erase anything, so the content is often complete.
Does encryption make recovery impossible?
Not by itself, but we need the key or the password. Without it, even a perfectly readable drive stays unreadable.
