Priorities instead of a full restore
A complete restore of a large array takes time. In most companies, though, a handful of directories decide whether work can continue: the accounting database, the current project folder, the mail store.
Tell us which those are and they are read out first and handed over in advance, while the rest is still running.
Virtual machines and databases
VMware (VMDK), Hyper-V (VHD and VHDX) and Proxmox images are extracted from the raw data and the file systems inside them are evaluated separately. Files from SQL Server, MySQL and Exchange databases are recovered and checked for whether they open.
Putting them back into your application is then done by your own IT or your system house – in direct contact with us if that helps.
What recovery costs
For this service the guide price is on request including 19 % VAT. The binding price is fixed after the analysis – nothing is charged before that.
Analysis free of charge
We examine the medium and establish what work is needed. There is no charge for that.
Fixed price in advance
You receive a binding quote with a list of the files found. Only then do you decide.
No data, no invoice
If the agreed data cannot be recovered, you pay only the agreed return shipping.
Frequently asked questions
Can you collect the machine?
In North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and northern Baden-Württemberg, yes, often the same working day. Elsewhere insured shipping is usually overnight.
Do you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. Personal data is almost always involved, and Art. 28 GDPR requires a written agreement. We can provide one or sign yours.
Do we have to pay in advance?
No. Business customers and public bodies are invoiced after completion.
