When the machine does not boot
A failed update, a corrupted boot sector or a damaged Windows installation look dramatic and are usually the simplest case: the drive is removed, read on separate hardware and the data handed over.
It becomes more serious when the drive itself is the reason for the failure. Repeated boot attempts are exactly what turns a recoverable drive into a lost one.
Liquid damage and soldered drives
After liquid ingress, do not try to dry the machine out and switch it on. Corrosion continues under power and can reach the storage chips.
Many current laptops have the storage soldered to the mainboard. The data is then read directly from the chips – possible, but a different and more involved procedure than removing a drive.

For this service the guide price is from 249 € including 19 % VAT. The binding price is fixed after the analysis – nothing is charged before that.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to send the whole laptop?
Only if the drive is soldered in or you would rather not open the machine. Otherwise the drive alone is enough.
Do you also repair the device?
No. We recover data. Repairs are a different trade, and mixing the two rarely serves the data.
